Instrument is a measuring device , Instrumentation is related with design , installation , calibration,  maintenance, measurement and control of any instrument. Industrial definition of Instrumentation is  the science of measurement and control of  process variables within a production or manufacturing unit . The process variables includes temperature , pressure , humidity , flow , Level, permissively , resistance , current , voltage, data flow , pH, Force, Speed etc.
